Saves Time , Hay and Money
Cuts your feeding time by at least 1/2! Spend more time riding and less time feeding. Spring clean up will be a breeze in your pens. No more scraping up wasted, ruined hay. These are superior nets that are made from netting that is NOT made in China. Veterinarians, health professionals, equine colleges and equestrian facilities are all touting the benefits of N.A.G. Bags. Go to www.slowhayfeeder.com to learn more about the benefits of slow feeding.

Scattering feed
When the situation is right I'll load a bale front and back of the quad and drop flakes of hay well apart. This causes the horses to move, firstly as they squabble, then as they have to search for more. There are trees and bushes so they do a good deal of looking. Some is dropped on the far side of a small hill. They know I leave some there and they often race up a course sand path to get to it. What is interesting is they will leave a number of piles to race up the hill to the far piles, then later return to the others.

Size of slow feeder/bottom
Patti, can you tell me the dimensions of your second feeder? (It's probably there, and I can't find it!)
Also, I notice the second version doesn't have a mesh bottom. I wet my hay, so I have to have a way for it to drain. Did you have a problem with the mesh?
(I hope this ends up in the right forum. I'm new to this site and having some trouble navigating!)
