Holly's Paddock Paradise in Western Washington
Get him to watch some of the videos.....I sent those to my sister in Martinique and I am sure she will be convinced to turn her property into a paradise paddock....right now she just wastes grass and turns everything to mud. It really makes sense for everyone.

Holly's Paddock Parsdise video
Great video, Holly! Beautiful track. How long have they been on it? Looks like you have some nice firm footing around the barn/run-in shelter.
Welcome to the wiki, and thank you so much for sharing your example! (At the bottom of the videos page: http://paddockparadise.wetpaint.com/page/Paddock+Paradise+Videos )

Is it possible to make a paradise on only an acre of land??
HI I just found this site last week and I find it very fascinating! I have two horses and only have 1 acre that is my property. My next door neighbor allows me to let my boys graze on her acre. I only can make fencing alterations to my acre. Do you think it is possible to still make a lap from the barn and back around. And use slow hay feeders in tree areas to keep them moving? I'm starting to have wheels turn in my head after looking at everyone's Paddock Paradise. I made my own slow feeding hay nets last weekend and my boys already have adjusted. They aren't crying out to me as soon as I get home for the feeding like they used too. They are also eating 2 flakes of hay for several hours now than 1 1/2 - 2 hours. I'm really impressed!! And to think I put in a google search for hay nets and I found this site. I had no clue this was out here. :) Thank you for any tips.. I live in East Texas with pine trees and sandy soil. Dry hooves are a problem in my existing paddock.

New video!
I posted a video tour of a friend's PP here in Manitoba. Barb is actually the woman who introduced me to the PP idea. I was at one of her healthy hoof and horse seminars, and she spoke of it. She has had her horses on them for a while. She has a B&W TWH who foundered a few years ago. This lead to her doing lots of research into natural trimming and hoof care. Now she travels around Manitoba, giving seminars on whole horse and hoof health, and giving trimming clinics. She also owns a guest ranch and has MFTs. The address to her site is http://www.barbfenwick.com/ links in the videos.
I posted the video in both videos page and the Canada page http://paddockparadise.wetpaint.com/page/Paddock+Paradise+Videos & http://paddockparadise.wetpaint.com/page/Canada
The pasture looks kinda dreary - it spring in Manitoba!

tracking video
Michelle, I don't know how I missed watching your video when you posted it almost a month ago (!), but I watched it today and thought it was great. :-) Your fence posts look so straight and nice. How is that one corner with the fiberglass post working out -- have you rounded it off like the other one yet? Or is it just fine with only one horse? It looks like a lovely horse habitat in the works.

Does the Wiki support powerpoint? Or can I convert PP to video??
I did a powerpoint tour of my Paddock Paradise, but now I don't see how to upload it. It's not a photo. And it's not a video. Is there a way to convert a PP presentation to video format so it can be uploaded on youtube? Anything??

Order your "Desert Brumby" video by Monday!
Christina's first group order for Brian Hampson's "Desert Brumby" DVD will be sent off this Monday! Remember, the money from our group order will go toward bringing a special GPS horse tracking collar to Kentucky, to begin a new Paddock Paradise movement study that will very likely include some of our very own turnout tracks. :-) I've already sent my $45 to thehighmountain@iglide.net on Paypal.
And the video looks like it will be fantastic -- full of cutting edge gps research results, and also with a bit of a plot as the coastal mare, "Christine" spends 3 months trying to fit in with a desert band's lifestyle.
Plus, ordering as a group will keep the price at $45 for us instead of having to pay shipping on it from Australia!
Christina, have you watched this DVD yet? Can you confirm whether it is family friendly? Am I right about it having a storyline?
