I purchased 15 acres in September 2009. I used the Paddock Paradise concept to put in a 1/4 mile track around the front hay field. The track is 16 feet wide.
The lane starts at the corner of the lot around the back of the barn. At the corner the horse and mini donkey can go West or North.
There is a larger hay field on the South side of the lane. Even though I only have flat land, this allowed me to keep the majority of the front hay field
and give the animals plenty of room to roam. I put the automatic waterer on the West side of the barn so they have to come back to the barn for water.
They can also go back into the end of barn to get out of the hot sun or rain.

At the North West corner of the lane, in front of the house, gate into a small front field. View of front field from deck in front of house. They are heading back into lane.
