Tangled Manes Snack Bar
The "Snack Bar" worked well for six weeks. Then the dowel snapped in half from Stella's pawing.
Although the bottles had to be loaded one cube at a time, having more than one bottle on the dowel allowed the horse to play with the first one while I was loading the others.
One of the bottles has a larger hole cut under the handle, which I used to pour the crumbs through from a TubTrug flexible bucket.
I think this design would work well either with an additional brace in the center, or half-sized with two vinegar bottles instead of four.
Snack Bar Update
Seems that a four-foot long dowel is too much length at standard broom handle width to withstand long-term use. At least, that is true if your half-Percheron paws at it...
The stick broke almost exactly in the middle, leaving me with two shorter dowels with which to build smaller spinner feeder toys. ;-)
Remarkably, it did last for six weeks on the ground in the run-in shed.
