The "Snack Bar" in use -- day one.
The "Snack Bar" worked well for six weeks. Then the dowel snapped in half from Stella's pawing.
Although the bottles had to be loaded one cube at a time, having more than one bottle on the dowel allowed the horse to play with the first one while I was loading the others.
One of the bottles has a larger hole cut under the handle, which I used to pour the crumbs through from a TubTrug flexible bucket.
I think this design would work well either with an additional brace in the center, or half-sized with two vinegar bottles instead of four.

If anyone is looking for a Pasture Pal cylinder, there are currently two listed on Ebay. Auctions end September 11, 2009. The seller does not have the plastic tray bases; only the cylinders. Just passing along the info... If interested, go to ebay.com and search for "Pasture Pal."
If you're new to feeder toys, be sure to compare this with the Nose-It!, which retails for the same price as the starting bid on the Pasture Pal cylinders: http://paddockparadise.wetpaint.com/page/Nose-It!
But if you have an old Pasture Pal base needing a dispensing cylinder, this ebay auction could be for you!
Do you find this valuable?

My horses still get the hay cubes fairly quickly, but having them dispensed a couple at a time helps prevent choke. Jewel choked once, before I started putting her hay cubes in the spinners. The Amazing Graze has one dispensing hole, just the right size for most alfalfa cubes. The Pasture Pal cylinder holes had to be drastically enlarged even for the timothy cubes that we use.
