This is the satellite view of our property. We are located just North of Kingston on 19 acres. We have about 8" of Dirt on top of Solid Limestone.

The Black lines indicate the existing perimeter fence. We have never used the woods as I was always afraid the footing was too rocky, but now I am really excited to make a track in there and make use of it as natural texture. Our property is a little like two plateaus, one at the front of thehouse and one at the front of the pastures so the horses are able to get a little hill work. I tried to make sure they had to go up and down the hill at the front of the pasture as many times as I could. Unfortunately we have no water but we do have a very swampy area in the front (indicated by the blue spray by the #11) I am hoping we can dig this out and maybe find an underground spring that we can make into a watering hole(phase 2 or 3) The yellow lines show the track we have been working on since I found this site around Easter. I have one very dominant gelding, so the pink line indicates additional track I may have to add to make two separate tracks. The purple lines show future track I would like to add in. The two black rectangles are run in sheds.

Hi, I live over near Lindsay, Ontario. I see you have lots of woods...do you have to keep fly sheets on for the entire summer?
Do you find this valuable?
