My horse's name: n/a, I don't own my own -- but I am in charge of 7 horses on 23 acres: 4 private, 3 boarders. 6 medium to large geldings and 1 mini mare.

When I started using a track: March 15, 2011

Slow feeders I like best: These blue barrel feeders that I made (see photo below), based on photos from this wiki :) Also for hanging in stalls, I like the Freedom Feeder.

The best word to describe me is: Grounded.

Barrel Slow Feeder

Blue 55gal barrel feeder, before first load of hay was put in 3-16-11.
Designed with inspiration from photos on this wiki of other barrel feeders, thanks guys!!!
This one is temporary until I get my permanent track up and running (just waiting for fencing to be delivered), which explains the strap around it - for the final installation, each barrel will have two posts, one on either side, and the barrel will be sandwiched between them with bolts holding them in place (no straps).


Snowmageddon 2011

NOT a fun snowstorm - Snowmageddon 2011 was almost as bad as Snowpocalypse 2010, we ended up with only 2.5 feet of snow instead of 3.
